bul-bul press announces an open call for submissions to our inaugural anthology. The publication will delve into the topics of power, privilege, and permission. Submissions are open until the end of June 2025. The email for submissions or inquiries is info[at]bul-bul.press to Asad Chishti.

The collection will examine the relationships between these concepts through poems, essays, and visual works. What are the innumerable ways these forces circuit and shape the spaces around us?

We are looking for contributions that snag at the intersections of power, privilege, and permission.
